La mujer en Metro

The Compañía Metropolitano Alfonso XIII pioneered the incorporation of women into the labour force. The women in charged of selling  and the validation of tickets constituted one of the first women's teams, along with thelephonists of Compañía Telefónica.

In fact, the presence of women employed in the company was one of the elements of attraction for public and journalists since the inauguration of the subway until many years later. This book gathers the history of those pioneers and the legacy they have left to these days.
